Rich in flavour, with a variety of textures.
|500 ml Whole Cranberry
500 ml Cooking Apples, chopped
250 ml Rolled Oats
250 ml Brown Sugar, packed
|100 ml Flour
60 grams Margarine, melted
1/2 Tsp Salt
125 grams Pecans, coarsely chopped
- Combine cranberry sauce and apples. Spoon the mixture into
a buttered baking dish (glass or stoneware) which is deep enough
to prevent overflow.
- Combine oats, sugar, flour, margarine and salt. Spread this
mixture over the cranberry sauce and apples.
- Sprinkle pecans over the top.
- Bake at 350° F. (Gas Mark 4) for 50 minutes or until
it bubbles well around the edges. Yields around six servings.
